After an enriching month at the Mother House, the Sisters of the Spanish- and Portuguese-speaking groups who participated in the Visit to the Sources gathered on August 14, at 10:00 a.m. for a short prayer of thanksgiving and a note of gratitude to Sr. Clare STANLEY, Superior General. A brief message from Sr. Clare brought the morning gathering to a warm and meaningful close.
In the evening, after supper, the two groups, together with the Sisters preparing for final vows, presented a beautiful cultural programme of songs and dances as an expression of their gratitude and joy.
It was a joyful time of fellowship, thanksgiving and celebration, bringing to a close a month of prayer, sharing and discovering the roots, history and charism of the Congregation.
