On 15 August, the Feast of the Assumption of Mary, the Sisters of Saint Joseph of Cluny joyfully celebrate Mary, our Perpetual Superior General. Following this beautiful tradition, we also celebrate the feast day of the Sister entrusted with the service of Superior General. Since 2018, we have had the joy of celebrating Sr. Clare STANLEY on this special occasion, entrusting her to Mary’s loving care and praying for wisdom, strength and joy in her service to the Congregation.
This year, 102 Sisters attended from the Mother House, nearby communities, the group here for the sources, and the final vows preparation group.
The celebration began with Holy Eucharist presided over by Fr. Jean-Claude ANGOULA, followed by a joyful time of fellowship, songs and dances in French, Spanish, English and Portuguese.
It was a beautiful moment of great joy and thanksgiving.
