We share in the mystery of Christ the Saviour, in fidelity to the missionary spirit that inspired our Blessed Mother Anne-Marie Javouhey. Today, as in the past, our mission is to be wherever there is good to be done.
Arriving in Congo Brazzaville in 1886, the sisters that came before us devoted themselves to the education of women and girls, a pillar of African social organisation, and laid the foundations for the emancipation of women. They did a great deal of work in health, education, pastoral care and spiritual guidance.

We share love and hope with our world by continuing the spiritual legacy left by our founder, Anne-Marie Javouhey. United in prayer every day, we ask God to fill us with His love so that we can live His Holy Will to the full, wherever we may be.
Religious life in Central Africa has more than a hundred years of history, led by women of faith who, with Mary, followed Jesus along the path of the joyful, luminous, sorrowful and glorious mysteries.
Today, we continue this mission through education, healthcare, and our active presence in rural parishes and outlying areas. Through our commitment in the dioceses, we become witnesses to the Resurrection of Christ, bringing to everyone the love and hope of a living God who never ceases to act in the heart of the world.
