Welcome to our province ...

The Province of South-West India was established in 1977as part of the development and ongoing mission of the Congregation of Saint Joseph of Cluny. The Provincial House, called Preethi Sadan - which means "House of Love" - was established in Bangalore, a city renowned for its lush greenery and pleasant climate, hence its nickname of "Garden City". Since its foundation, the province has been actively involved in various missions, faithful to the spirit and vision of Blessed Anne-Marie Javouhey, our foundress.

Let's share love and hope with our world ...

Women who bring hope and compassion to a world in distress - this is the mission of the Province, inspired by Blessed Anne-Marie Javouhey.

Rooted in love and guided by faith, the sisters are present in five states and twelve dioceses of India, serving the poor, the young and the marginalised. Through their service and presence, they bear witness to God's love and build a world of hope.
