Mother House

The Mother House is ...

    • the center of animation and coordination
    • a place of meeting and renewal

"Keeping alive the memory and spirit of the Foundress, it is a sign of unity for all the Sisters.

Deeply rooted in fertile soil and exposed to sunlight and wind, the ginkgohas flourished for over 200 years.

The chapel, consecrated on 1 May 1860, invites us to pray.

Under the chapel is the crypt. It is an ideal place for prayer, whether alone or in a group. Here is kept the precious relic of the Heart of Anne Marie Javouhey, preserved intact since her death in July 15th 1851.

Saint Joseph watches over the Mother House and the entire Congregation.
