Androhibe par Analamahitsy, Antananarivo 101 MADAGASCAR
On October 13, 1861, four Sisters of Saint Joseph of Cluny landed in Tamatave. Two stayed on and opened a school without delay, while two others, accompanied by Jesuit priests, went to Tananarive, the capital, which they reached on November 11, 1861.
As soon as they arrived, having been warmly welcomed, they began gathering girls with the aim of opening a school in Andohalo. One of the first pupils, Victoire RASOAMANARIVO, was beatified on April 29, 1989 by Pope John Paul II.
Like all Anne Marie Javouhey's daughters throughout the world, fulfilling God's Will is our spirituality, and impels us to live our Charism of: "PROMOTING THE DIGNITY OF ALL".
